Our 20mm XPS Overlay Multi-Zone Underfloor Heating Kits (Suitable For 16mm Pipe) are one of the most popular water based underfloor heating kits on the market. With its use under most floor finishes, its suitability for both retro-fit and new build applications and its vertical compactness, it is one of the most versatile wet underfloor heating kits available.
The XPS boards in this kit have a high compressive strength (400kPa) and is fully approved by Mapei and Ultra for tiling directly onto, using their recommended flexible adhesives and without the need for a separate backer board or intermediate layer. Laminate and wood flooring can also be installed with a suitable underlay or adhesive onto the XPS boards. Carpet and Vinyl on the roll will require using Duo-Board or renovation screed an intermediate layer.
